This large facility was originally constructed with a metal standing seam panel roof system. Typical leak issues occurred when rooftop mechanical equipment was placed on the roof and cut into the metal panel roof system. Highland Roofing Company was selected to install a Johns-Manville fully adhered EPDM rubber roof system on the plant buildings. New insulation was placed between the ribs of the standing seam panels and additional layers were placed over the panel surface to provide additional building insulation. The facility is now leak free and has plans to install the same roof system on other buildings.
