Memorial Auditorium

Highlights

The historic Memorial Auditorium is a Louisville landmark of Greek Revival design that was built in dedication to World War I veterans and opened in 1929. When the auditorium needed roof replacement in 2018 Highland Roofing Company was honored to be selected as the roof contractor of choice to do the work. This copper batten seam roof replacement required the highest craftsmanship. It involved fabrication and installation of curved copper panels, cornice bed linings and intricate details. The flat roofs were replaced with SBS modified asphalt roofing systems applied over tapered insulation systems.
